Job Responsibilities
- Start-up of equipment on-site
- Leads the integration and the deployment of machines
- Diagnoses and solves challenges quickly and effectively
- Improves the systems to accomplish and reach system performance requirements
- Supports client’s production team on site and remotely
- Produces reports covering the on-site work advancements
- Formulates constructive feedback for the engineering department on problems during on-site commissioning and start-up
- Conducts client training and prepares supporting documentation
- Participates in the design of automated systems
- Leads or participates during equipment testing
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary project teams
- Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction
- Is available to support the customer during the evenings and stand-by periods
Qualification and Experience
- A combination of education and experience in controls (DCS +5 to 10 years’ experience or bachelors + 3 to 5 years’ experience)
- Good understanding and experience programming (PLC, HMI,VFD and Allen Bradley servo-engines)
- Experience with AB network communication
- Excellent communication skills, bilingualism is a must
- Flexibility and openness to travel a must (75% travel)
- Autonomous and resourceful
- Good stress management
