We are currently looking for a Installation and start-up technician to join the service team at our site in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, QC.

The main responsibilities of the position:
- Commissioning/Start up/Tune-up of EPIQ AD equipment
- Lead/Assist the integration and production of our systems
- Diagnose and correct problems quickly and efficiently
- Improve systems to meet project performance criteria
- Support customer production teams on site and remotely
- Produces reports covering the on-site work advancements
- Provide constructive feedback to engineering on problems encountered on site
- Conduct or participate in workshop tests
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams
- Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction
- Is available to support the customer during the evenings and stand-by periods
Other Responsibilities:
- Provide service related representation in the industries served
- Generate service related sales opportunities
- Generate proposals
- Participate in the programming of automated industrial systems
- Prepare training materials and train operators and customer staff
Qualifications and experiences:
- A combination of studies / experience in automation and control
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PLC / HMI programming
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the start-up and commissioning of industrial equipment
- Good knowledge and experience in programming PLC, HMI, VFD and Allen Bradley servo motors
- Experience with communication networks (AB)
- Experience with Fanuc robots (asset)
- Knowledge or experience in mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics (asset)
