Mechanical Drafter/Designer – Saint-Bruno, QC


Team:  After-sales service


Under the supervision of your team leader, you will participate in modifications and adjustments of high-end equipment in our clients’ facilities in the pulp and paper industry and/or for the primary metal manufacturing industry.


In collaboration with the director, you will be responsible for the following tasks:


  • Providing solutions (design) that take into account the set design criteria
  • Producing documents, drawings and/or material lists for the manufacturing and assembly of equipment
  • Verifying the quality and accuracy of work
  • Ensuring the optimal cost of the chosen materials and components, and manufacturing and assembly procedures that require minimal handling
  • Meeting budgets and deadlines
  • Integrating equipment into our clients’ plants
  • Communicating with clients and travelling to their facilities to take measurements and/or attend design reviews

Technical knowledge

  • Electric/pneumatic/hydraulic components



Degrees and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • DEC in Mechanical Engineering
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) is an asset


Years of experience

Five or more years


Spoken and written languages

French and English professional proficiency
