Mechanical Drafter/Designer – Saint-Bruno, QC

Under the supervision of your team leader, you will participate in modifications and adjustments of high-end equipment in our clients’ facilities in the pulp and paper industry and/or for the primary metal manufacturing industry.
In collaboration with the director, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Providing solutions (design) that take into account the set design criteria
- Producing documents, drawings and/or material lists for the manufacturing and assembly of equipment
- Verifying the quality and accuracy of work
- Ensuring the optimal cost of the chosen materials and components, and manufacturing and assembly procedures that require minimal handling
- Meeting budgets and deadlines
- Integrating equipment into our clients’ plants
- Communicating with clients and travelling to their facilities to take measurements and/or attend design reviews

Degrees and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- DEC in Mechanical Engineering
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) is an asset
