We are currently looking for an Electrical Designer to join our Engineering team at our Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, QC location.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Producing and preparing contract assemblies
  • Ensuring drawings are produced accurately and in compliance with applicable codes and drafting standards
  • Drafting and preparing electrical layouts, schematics, and details from sketches or notes
  • Reviewing sketches, drawings, specifications, and other technical data and providing technical support as needed
  • Producing drawings using EPLAN (90%) and AutoCAD (10%)

 

What we’re looking for:

 

  • Technical or professional diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Design
  • 3 years of experience in electrical design (with AutoCAD and EPLAN)
  • Good knowledge of electrical codes
  • Experience designing electrical panels and junction boxes
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in both French and English to support our English-speaking clients
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on creativity
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or annex form
  • Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization is limited
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley, Schneider, and Siemens is considered an asset
