We are currently looking for a Welder-Assembler to join our production/manufacturing team at our Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville location.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include: 20% welding, 80% assembly.

 

  • Perform the assembly and fitting of custom welded mechanical structures, strictly following plans and established procedures
  • Read and interpret standard mechanical assembly drawings to complete both simple and complex assemblies
  • Perform welding (FCAW) and cutting work as needed for maintenance or to correct non-conformities
  • Address and repair technical errors or non-conformities identified during the manufacturing or engineering process
  • Work sequentially on multiple assemblies while adapting to interruptions and urgent priorities, especially in cases of non-conformity
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth, efficient production that meets quality standards

 

What we’re looking for:

 

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in the field
  • Possession of a FCAW welder certification (mandatory)
  • A versatile individual with a meticulous work ethic
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand assembly instructions
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, CSA W59, and W47 standards (an asset). We provide CWB certification
  • Ability to operate an overhead crane and a forklift (an asset)
