EPIQ strengthens operational performance with its Service Pro Cycle

Proactive maintenance plan enhances the efficiency of pulper feeding lines.

EPIQ Machinery, a global provider of innovative equipment solutions designed to optimize material handling and process efficiency for pulp and paper mills, has announced the launch of its new EPIQ WAY | Service Pro Cycle for pulper feeding lines.

The program is designed to deliver proactive maintenance and ensure optimal and continuous operation of EPIQ systems. Through scheduled maintenance contracts, the company aims to maintain or restore original equipment efficiency, enhance production using the latest technologies, and provide ongoing support from qualified technicians both onsite and remotely.

The plan includes preplanned and scheduled visits every six months, combining mechanical audits, control system adjustments, and, when applicable, robotic and vision system optimization.

The program stages include:

  • First visit (2 days): mechanical technicians conduct a system performance audit, fine-tune operations, prepare control items for the next phase, and identify the parts required.
  • Second visit (3 days): mechanical and control technicians work together to install parts, refine programming, and optimize machine cycles to achieve maximum uptime.
  • Third visit (3 days): control and robotics specialists—if applicable—finalize the overall tune-up, optimize robot operation and vision systems, and ensure peak performance.

In addition, EPIQ Machinery provides 24/7 technical assistance, ensuring prompt customer support and reinforcing its commitment to operational continuity and service excellence.
