A new president for the AluQuébec board of directors

For the first time in its history, AluQuébec’s Board of Directors will be chaired by a woman, Ms. Éloïse Harvey, Chief Executive Officer of EPIQ Machinery, one of the largest equipment manufacturers in Quebec. To support her in this role, she will be joined by the following officers forming the Executive Committee of the Aluminum Industry Cluster:

Éloïse Harvey, EPIQ Machinery, Chair

Julien Houde-Lord, Shawinigan Aluminium, Vice-Chair

Jean Simard, Aluminium Association of Canada, Secretary

Julie Morand, Fonds de solidarité FTQ, Treasurer

Since 2014, Ms. Harvey has been a member of AluQuébec’s Board of Directors. “It is with pride and determination that I assume the chairmanship of AluQuébec’s Board of Directors,” said Éloïse Harvey upon her appointment. “My commitment to the organization, the companies that make up its ecosystem, and the entire aluminum sector is profound. I wish to actively contribute to the sustainable growth of aluminum use in Quebec and to the strengthening of an even more integrated, value-creating, and resilient supply chain here at home.” She also took care to warmly thank her predecessor, Mr. Yves Tremblay, for all the work accomplished over the past years.

AluQuébec’s President and CEO, Mr. François Racine, did the same during the Annual General Meeting, expressing his gratitude to Mr. Tremblay: “You have shaped our organization with the strength and lightness of a metal we hold dear. Thanks to you, AluQuébec has grown in stature while maintaining its flexibility in the face of challenges. A true aluminum structure: strong and enduring!”

Today, Mr. Racine congratulates and welcomes Ms. Harvey.
“Like aluminum, you are an exceptional alloy to guide AluQuébec toward a bright future. Wishing you success, as well as to all the members of the 2025–2026 Board of Directors!”
