Under the leadership of the Global IT Director, the regional Director of IT Operations is responsible for managing and overseeing all operational activities related to information technology across the organization. This key role ensures the performance, reliability, and security of IT infrastructure, while aligning systems with business needs and the company’s strategic objectives.

More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing, and updating IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure operational efficiency, security, and compliance
- Leading the IT team: participating in recruitment, training, skills development, and performance evaluations
- Planning, managing, and optimizing the IT budget while ensuring cost-effective technology investments aligned with organizational growth
- Deploying and enforcing cybersecurity measures, including the documentation of security protocols
- Overseeing user support, maintaining service level agreements (SLAs), and conducting regular system audits and software updates
- Collaborating closely with other departments to identify, recommend, and implement cost-effective, tailored technology solutions
- Managing relationships with IT vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring—both in Canada and internationally
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience)
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in IT operations and team management
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity best practices, cloud collaboration tools, and hybrid environments (AD/Azure/Office 365, etc.)
- Experience in the manufacturing industry (an asset)
