Your responsibilities will include:

  • Commissioning, start-up, and fine-tuning of EPIQ AD equipment

  • Leading or assisting in the integration and production of our systems

  • Diagnosing and resolving issues quickly and effectively

  • Improving systems to meet project performance criteria

  • Providing on-site and remote support to client production teams

  • Preparing field reports on project progress

  • Offering constructive feedback to engineering based on field experience

  • Performing or assisting with workshop testing and collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams

  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and providing support during evenings and on-call periods

  • Representing the company’s service offering across the industries we serve

  • Identifying service-related sales opportunities

  • Participating in the programming of industrial automation systems

  • Preparing training materials and training client operators and staff

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in automation and the manufacturing industry

  • At least 5 years of experience programming PLCs / HMIs

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and servo motors

  • Experience with Allen-Bradley communication networks

  • Experience with Fanuc robots (an asset)

  • Knowledge or experience in mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics (an asset)

Desired qualities:

  • Strong communication skills; ability to communicate fluently in French and English to support our anglophone clients

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel (required, 75% of the time)

  • Ability to manage stress and work well under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
