About the Role
Reporting to the IT Manager, the Junior IT Technician is responsible for managing Level 1 support tickets, providing basic hardware and software assistance, and ensuring the smooth operation of the technologies used by employees. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving common technical issues related to software, hardware, and network access, while adhering to the company’s security protocols.

Your Key Responsibilities 

  • Respond promptly to Level 1 support tickets, focusing on basic hardware and software issues 
  • Provide assistance and troubleshooting for OneDrive, shared network drives, Microsoft licensing, and local applications 
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems on various devices 
  • Follow established security protocols and best practices for software and hardware installations 
  • Collaborate with the senior IT team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and resolutions 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Experience or knowledge in IT troubleshooting 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, including OneDrive and shared network drives 
  • Understanding of Microsoft licensing and support for local applications 
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to security best practices 
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 
  • Strong customer service mindset and interpersonal skills
