We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Engineering team at our Chicoutimi, QC location.

Main responsibilities of the role: 

  • Contact, meet with, and ensure communication with clients for repair, improvement, or tooling projects 
  • Take ownership of orders for masts, handling tools, and furnace maintenance 
  • Take measurements and prepare presentation drawings 
  • Manage the quotation process for work, equipment, or tools to be provided 
  • Upon order reception, perform detailed planning of the work. Validate and/or locate existing compliant drawings 
  • In collaboration with involved departments, initiate projects 
  • Establish schedules and manage any changes or adjustments 
  • Monitor budgets using the integrated management system 
  • Follow up with clients and obtain necessary approvals when required 
  • Ensure delivered equipment complies with client specifications and order details, including all contractual administrative documentation 
  • Coordinate delivery activities 
  • Complete manufacturing order (MO) closures and project billing 
  • Support and collaborate with the parts and after-sales service (AFS) department 
  • Any other related tasks as required 

 

Qualifications and experience required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant studies 
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in a production plant environment and in mobile machinery development 
  • A passion for development and innovation 
  • Experience in automated systems design
