We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team at our Chicoutimi, QC location.

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Under the supervision of the Product Manager, prepare design drawings, layout plans, diagrams, and computer programs (e.g., PLCs) required for project execution; 
  • Ensure all drawings, layouts, diagrams, and programs are complete, consistent, logical, functional, and free from interference between components; 
  • Validate that developed concepts are technically feasible, cost-effective, and highly reliable. When needed, consult with the after-sales team, manufacturing shop, and/or suppliers; 
  • Provide technical support to both after-sales services and customers; 
  • Ensure “as-built” drawings are updated; 
  • Support the shop during assembly and equipment commissioning; 
  • Participate in proposal preparation; 
  • Sign and stamp electrical plans. 

 

 

Required Qualifications and Experience: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; 
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a production plant environment and in mobile machinery development; 
  • Background in a manufacturing/production setting; 
  • Passion for innovation and product development; 
  • Experience in the design of automated systems.
